High-Purity Starch Hydrocyclone: Slurry Grading & Impurity Filtration

Working Principle:

Starch milk is pumped through the hydrocyclone’s feed port and into the cylinder’s central cavity by a dedicated starch pump. The slurry then moves into the cyclone tube inlet and flows tangentially into the tube’s inner chamber. Once inside, the material spins along a high-speed helical path, generating strong centrifugal force. Lower-density impurities like proteins and water are subjected to weaker centrifugal pull; as they spiral toward the bottom of the conical tube, they hit resistance and form an upward reverse vortex, which gets discharged through the overflow port. This process allows for precise separation of pure starch from unwanted contaminants, guaranteeing top-grade starch purity for your production line.
