How Our Desanding Equipment Works! Powered by centrifugal separation technology, its eccentric cylinder water inlet lets water enter via the cyclone sand inlet—first forming a downward tangential swirl that moves circumferentially downward. Once hitting a specific cone section, the flow reverses to upward axial rotation and exits through the outlet pipe. Impurities are pulled by inertial centrifugal force and gravity, settling into the bottom conical slag bucket (anti-rising components stop re-entrainment!). When impurities build up, just open the manual valve for easy water-driven discharge.

Desand hydrate cyclone is mainly used to remove sand and mud from crushed starch slurry, cassava slurry, and potato slurry. It is widely applied in corn starch, cassava starch, cassava flour, wheat starch, sago, and potato starch processing.
